Balanced Life Therapy was founded in January of 2020 by Teresa Niehaus and Mallory Irvin. In April of 2022 Balanced Life Therapy moved to a larger facility (where we are currently located) to continue to grow and serve the community. Both Teresa and Mallory are Occupational Therapist who specialize in pediatrics. Since our opening we have added several new therapist and now offer OT, PT, and speech therapy to the children of our community.
Teresa Robinson Niehaus has been an occupational therapist for 30 years. She graduated from South Knox High School in 1990, Vincennes University in 1992 with an associates degree in pre-OT and IUPUI in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Teresa has worked in a wide variety of settings with pediatrics: the schools, outpatient, First Steps and home health care. Teresa loves to work with children and is proud of this facility and all of the things they provide for our local kiddos! Teresa is married to Eric Niehaus for 29 years now, has four children, Bailey (Avory) Mickens, Jackson (Madison) Niehaus, Natalie Niehaus, Charlie Niehaus and two grandchildren Maurice Mickens and Theo Niehaus. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, taking care of their farm animals and anything outdoors!
Mallory Niehaus Irvin has been an occupational therapist for 8 years. She graduated from Vincennes Rivet in 2011 and attended University of Southern Indiana, majoring in Psychology. She attended graduate school at IUPUI, graduating in 2016 with her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy. Mallory has always had a love of working with children and has spent the past 8 years specializing in pediatrics. Mallory is married to William Irvin for 5 years and has two children Charlotte & Addison Irvin. In her free time Mallory can be found spending time with family, attending local sporting events, and enjoying the lake.
